His grace finds me…

His grace finds me…

I am so thankful that no matter where I am, His grace finds me. I have been humming Your Grace Finds Me by Matt Redman all afternoon. Clay and I prayed together early this morning before going our separate ways as we try to do each morning, and I carried the prayer time on to my drive to work. I could have easily been overwhelmed by the loooong list of prayer needs for individuals in our lives. I’m so thankful that when a beautiful friend is battling a “bad battery” in a pacemaker and was to undergo corrective surgery this morning, His grace finds her. An older saintly minister who found himself in palliative care yesterday due to out of control blood sugar, His grace finds him. An amazing lady who has been battling cancer for almost 20 years and underwent surgery this morning to remove a cancerous tumor, His grace finds her. A couple whose marriage dangles by a very thin thread, His grace finds them. A new friend who battles with the sense of belonging due to childhood hurts, His grace finds her.

We serve a gracious God. And wherever you are and whatever you’re battling, His grace finds you too.

“When he arrived and saw what the grace of God had done, he was glad and encouraged them all to remain true to the Lord with all their hearts” (Acts 11:23).

“The grace of our Lord was poured out on me abundantly, along with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus” (1 Timothy 1:14).
